GIFT TV is Expanding Our Viewership Reach!
GIFT TV was created as a program of GIFT in August 2024. Eight months into operation we are excited to announce that we are expanding our viewership reach, which are currently our Roku viewers to include owners of IOS and Android mobile phones.
The Global Independent Filmmakers Tribe (G.I.F.T.) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization made up of a collaborative of independent filmmakers. Our mission is to bring you documentary and dramatic content that give life to stories that preserve history and give a voice to people, cultures and social issues with the goal of bringing about positive change.

Faces of Vitiligo: A Documentary
G.I.F.T. partnered with our first nonprofit partner, the Vitiligo Man of Action and the Vitiligo Brotherhood Alliance to bring coverage from the 2022 Vitiligo Summit in Atlanta, Georgia to the world. Our collective goal is to educate the public and answer questions that people may have about the causes and symptoms of vitiligo, the unexpected loss of pigmenation of the skin.
Look for Faces of Vitiligo on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and YouTube to listen to the stories of Vitiligo Man of Action founder Perry Whaley and other dynamic program participants of their journeys and of how they encourage others to cope and help others navigate and thrive through the vitiligo journey.

Histories of People of Color and Underserved Populations
Another major mission of G.I.F.T. is to share the histories of people of color and other underrepresented populations. G.I.F.T. is excited to bring you productions that lift unexpected and unknown histories off the pages of books and from within the walls of historic places such as the museums that comprise the Florida African Heritage Preservation Network and other monuments.
Honoring the Legacy of Dr. A.D. Brickler, II
A brief history of the life and journey of Dr. Alexander D. Brickler, who helped more than 30,000 mothers give birth to their baies. Dr. Brickler delivered many "Brickler Bablies" at Florida A&M University Hospital in the 1960s and 1970s.
